Southwest Colorado has been my home off and on for many years with my family having started a Dude Ranch in Mancos, Colorado in the 50's. My husband, Stan, and I love a rural environment and live outside of Bayfield, Colorado where we have enough land to accommodate the breeding and raising of Morgan horses. In addition, we enjoy our three dogs (one of which is a St. Bernard) and two cats. We both enjoy the lifestyle this area has to offer from outdoor activities to great dining. We feel we have all the benefits of a large city with none of the drawbacks.

In 2001 I began my career in real estate. Coming from a strong background in the hospitality and service industry, I find my experence parlays perfectly when helping clients through the intricacies and emotions involved in buying or selling their home. My goal is to provide you with the information necessary in order to make educated decisions, especially in this challenging market. Client service is a very important facet of the buying and selling process. I continue to concentrate my efforts on anticipating the needs of my clients and am able to offer you solutions, systems and resources to make this transition as seamless as possible.

Teresa Stephenson joined the office in January 2006 and is available to assist buyers and sellers with all of their real estate needs. Teresa moved to Durango in June of 1998 from San Diego where she was born and raised. After commuting back and forth to San Diego for six months, she happily retired from her corporate career in Human Resources to welcome her newest challenge of becoming a full-time Mom. Once her two sons (now 9 and 7 years old) started school full time, Teresa decided to pursue a completely different direction in her professional life by working in real estate. She now has obtained her real estate license in Colorado.

Teresa brings a wealth of management, marketing and administrative experience to my office. Her attention to detail and professionalism complements what we believe to be critical in servicing our clients. With Teresa’s assistance, we are capable of delivering a well thought-out and organized approach to finding the property you are searching for, or assisting you in the marketing and selling of your current property.
